Categories of Admission
The Office of Enrollment Services serves those students who are Full-time and seeking a degree from the University. We offer programs through the traditional campus located here in Fulton, Mo.. Listed below are some terms that will help you evaluate what kind of student you would be. If you have further questions, check out our Frequently Asked Questions and When Should I Apply pages.
Degree seeking are students seeking admission in order to earn a degree from William Woods University.
Freshman applicants are first-time college students and students who have completed less than 12 credit hours to another college or university. Even if you have more than 12 credits through dual credit, dual enrollment or Advanced Placement, you still will be classified as a Freshman.
Transfer applicants are those who have enrolled previously at another college or university and have completed 12 or more credits.
International applicants are seeking admission to William Woods University and although they may live in the United States they do not currently have citizenship from the United States of America.
Non-Degree seeking applicants are those who do not intend to earn a degree from the University and seek admission to pursue coursework on a part-time basis and on a non-degree-seeking status. These students should contact the Registrar's Office at 573.592.4248.
For students who are applying to the University for Part-time status, Dual Credit, Dual Enrollment, or the Life Long Learning program, they should contact the Registrar's Office at 573.592.4248.
