William Woods University is interested in, and committed to, the academic success and progress of entering freshman students. To assist freshmen in their transition to college life, the university annually conducts the Freshman Advantage program.
William Woods University's Freshman Advantage program reduces "freshman anxieties" including making friends, knowing where things are and adjusting to college life. Freshman Advantage is a three-week program, offered on our scenic campus in Fulton, Mo. The program is directed and taught by WWU faculty members.
Freshman Advantage, a program for first-time college freshmen, is designed to aid your transition to college life. During Freshman Advantage you will
- Earn seven Common Studies credit hours
- Meet friends from your incoming class
- Bond with upper-class mentors
- Connect with members of the faculty and staff
- Learn your way around campus and the community
