The Woods's alumni and friends support the institution's students and help the University meet its mission by funding campus priority projects though the WWU Annual Fund.

Throughout the academic year, current students contact alumni and parents via telephone and U.S. mail to provide them with the opportunity to support WWU's innovative projects such as the LEAD Program, scholarships, and other campus priorities. Gifts to the Annual Fund are typically unrestricted, meaning that the donor allows the University to respond to needs and take advantage of opportunities as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Some employers will match charitable gifts to The Woods.
