Fri April 24

9 am - 4 pm   William Woods/Westminster Golf Tournament    ($50 per player)
                       Tanglewood Golf Course

                       Registration for Golf Tournament is closed due to maximum capacity.
                       For alumni, spouses and friends of the university.
                       Begins at 9 am with a 10 am shotgun start.

9 am - 4 pm   Senior 2009 Art Show (free)
                      Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts - Mildred Cox Gallery

                      View the artwork and show designed by the 2009 senior art majors.


9 am - 7 pm   Alumni Weekend Registration and “Ongoing Coffee”
                      Nielsen Room in Tucker Dining Hall

                      Tours led by the University Ambassadors will be departing every 30 minutes.
                      Come get reacquainted with the campus and see what is new.

                      Join WWU Equestrian Division Chair, Gary Mullen

                      Equestrian Center — UPHA Arena (2:30pm - 3:30pm)

                      This seminar takes a look at the changes in the equine industry from the 20th century
                      to the 21st century. We will look at how the WWU equestrian department has worked

                      to keep up with the times. A tour of the equestrian facilities is included as part of the

                      seminar. You will get a chance to meet some of our current world and national
                      champion horses, as well as the priceless old schoolmasters.

                       Hosted by the WWU Alumni Board -- This is an opportunity for alumni and former
                       athletes to catch up and share memories.

                        This long-standing tradition has proven to be a great time for all alumni.

7:00 pm         Alumni Dinner, Auction & Band    ($25 per person - limited seating)
                       Tent outside of Tucker Dining Hall

                       Enjoy sumptuous buffet choices! Winner of the $5,000 trip raffle
                       will be announced. Proceeds go to the WWU National Alumni Board for scholarships

                       and alumni projects. Dance to the music of The Krazy Kats.

8 pm               WWU Theatre Production -- The Miser by Moliere
                       Cutlip Auditorium / McNutt Campus Center
                       (Adults $8; Sr. Citizens (55+) $6; Children (6-12) $5

                       Enjoy this famous 17th-century French comedy of manners by Francis Moliere, the
                       favorite comic playwright of his time. The play deals with marriage, love

                       and greed and the comic situations along the way.

                                    Presentation of 50 year medallions to Class of 1959
                                    Awards presented include the Green Owl, Order of the Owl, Honorary Alumni,
                                    and Service and Outstanding Distinguished Alumni.

                                   Enjoy wine and music while catching up with friends and classmates.

                                   Wine and commemorative glasses will be available for purchase.

                                   Complimentary soda and bottled water will also be available.

3:30 pm - 4 pm        American Sign Language Lab Demonstration
                                   Burton Building and Economics Building, Room 008

                                   Join Dr. Carolyn Ball, division chairperson of the ASL Interpreting Program, for a                                    demonstration of the recently-enhanced Charlotte Rose Hamilton ASL Interpreting                                    lab and participate in the unveiling of the donor recognition plaque.
