Owls Receive Votes in Preseason Poll

(FULTON, Mo., Dec. 7)--The William Woods University men's golf team has received votes in the NAIA preseason Top 25 poll. The Owls received 83 votes, and are three spots out of Top 25 recognition.

 

The Owls were ranked first in the Unaffiliated Grouping. The Unaffiliated Grouping includes teams from the American Midwest Conference and the Dakota Athletic Conference.

 

The Owls are coming off back-to-back American Midwest Conference championships. William Woods has also qualified for the NAIA National Championships in two consecutive seasons.

 

The Owls will open the 2010 season at the UST Texas Intercollegiate Golf Championship in Fort Worth, Texas. The date of the tournament is to be announced.
