Owls Split at William Carey Invitational

(HATTIESBURG, Miss., March 19)--The William Woods University softball team split two games at the William Carey University Invitational tournament on Friday. The Owls defeated Southern Nazarene University 5-4 in the first game of the day. The Owls lost to #6 William Carey 0-6 in the final game of the day.

WWU (9-14) will return to action on March 22. They will open American Midwest Conference play at Harris-Stowe State University. First-pitch is at 1 pm in St. Louis, Mo.
