Owls Fall to Columbia in AMC Championships
(FULTON, Mo., Nov. 14)--The William Woods University volleyball team lost to Columbia College in the American Midwest Conference championship on Saturday afternoon in Columbia, Mo. The Owls fell to the Cougars 25-17, 25-18 and 25-19.
William Woods completes one of its most successful seasons in recent years. WWU finishes the 2009 season 29-7. In addition to an exceptional season, the Owls finished second in the AMC regular season, and won 13 AMC matches this year; the most in the schools history.
