Degree Program Detail
English as a Second Language
The ESL (English as a Second Language) courses are offered to students needing/seeking supplemental English instruction while completing degree coursework. Completion of ESL courses will not lead to a degree or certification.
The ESL courses use an interactive approach to teaching writing (emphasizing sentence structure), vocabulary, speaking (stressing conversational skills), and listening (comprehension) skills to students whose primary language is not English.
