Education (Middle-Level) B.S.
Students who plan to teach grades 5-9 in Missouri complete this sequence of courses and a concentration of 21 hours in English, mathematics, social science or science.
Students interested in becoming certified to teach in other states need to follow these program requirements and be recommended for Missouri certification by the Registrar. They may then take that certification to other states. Policies vary among states.

Introduction to Teacher Education (EDU 105) is recommended for students in this certification.
Technology Requirement:
Students entering into the Teacher Education program stating fall 2012 will be required to have a laptop that meets eMINTS requirements.
