Academic Progress

Students are expected to monitor their progress in each course by noting their performance on assignments and examinations. Students are encouraged to discuss their progress in each course with their instructors and their academic advisors, particularly when deficiencies are apparent. Faculty are responsible for providing periodic assessment through class work, assignments and examinations. Students are responsible for informing the parents or guardians about their academic progress. The official procedure to notify students of academic progress is the semester grade report. If a student fails to make adequate academic progress in several courses during a semester, he/she may be called to meet with the Academic Progress Board.
