Development & Alumni Relations Staff
University Advancement's development and alumni relations team works closely with the UA marketing and university relations team and the office of the University Vice President, including Scott Gallagher and Brenda Foster.

Daniel C. Diedriech
A member of the William Woods community since March, 2013, Dan brings 25 years of senior University Advancement experience to his position. He holds both a Master of Arts degree and Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has also received national accreditation through the Public Relations Society of America. Dan has worked in television news and held leadership positions with three additional institutions of higher education. Dan is responsible for overall management of development, alumni relations, and marketing/university relations.

Michael Barnes
Michael is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Ill. with a bachelor of science degree in radio/TV and a minor in English literature. Michael joined UA in 2012 as a development officer, working with prospects who will ultimately become donors. He participates in alumni events and works collaboratively with colleagues to advance university goals. Prior to joining WWU, Michael worked in fundraising as the Director of the East Tennessee Television and Film Commission and as a volunteer with the United Way of Greater Knoxville, Tennessee.

Kacie Dielschneider
Kacie Dielschneider has joined William Woods University as the Loyalty Fund Coordinator in University Advancement in 2013. She comes to us from Corporate YMCA in Wichita, Kansas, where she worked as Corporate Membership Director. Kacie received an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in communication studies in 2009 and obtained a certificate in entrepreneurial management while attending. She then went on to pursue her MA degree in health education and promotion from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), where she worked as a graduate assistant for UNI wellness and recreation services. At WWU, Kacie is responsible for coordination of all activities related to the Loyalty Fund, including management of the student phonathon, the President's Club Giving Society, and the Parents' Association.

Peggy McGrew
Peggy holds two degrees from WWU ('99 and '01). She manages the advancement information areas of prospective research, database administration, gift processing, and effective communications and donor relations with university alumni and friends. She has a background in administrative services and quality process analysis and management. She joined UA in 1995. Peggy is a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA),AASP, is certified in the management of the development software module, and is a member of CASE and the American Council on Gift Annuities.

Becky Stinson
Becky (Bean) Stinson, a WWU alumna ('72), coordinates activities related to the WWU Alumni Association, planning and facilitating alumni gatherings, the annual Alumni Weekend, develops alumni chapters, and manages the Fairchild Alumni House. She joined the WWU staff in 1994, working in student life. She came to UA in 2001. Becky holds a BS degree in education, and serves as advisor to the Chi Omega sorority and coordinates the Student Alumni Council.

Elaine Winters
Elaine works primarily in the area of advancement services. She is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of data into the software tracking system and assists in maintaining the integrity of University Advancement's extensive database of alumni and friends. With a background in accounts receivables entry, Elaine joined UA in 2006.

Liza Payne
Liza joined the UA staff in 2012. She is in the process of earning an MBA at WWU. Liza earned BS degrees in Equine General Studies and Communications in 2012 from WWU. As part of University Advancement's Development and Alumni Relations team, Liza provides general support to all members of the professional staff while gaining exposure to all aspects of the development and alumni relations career fields. During her undergraduate studies, Liza served as a member of the WWU phonathon crew. On campus she was a member of President's Twenty, served as a class president and member of Student Alumni Council, and received numerous honors.
