Special Education Certification Courses

William Woods offers special education administration (EDU 537) and curriculum (EDU 538) courses for Missouri Special Education Director (K-12) certification. These eight-week courses are online and are offered approximately twice a year. A special education field experience (EDU 591) is also available. Completion of the EDU 537 and 538 courses is a prerequisite for participation in the field experience.

Students in the Education Specialist and Master of Education programs should contact their advisor for more information about these requirements.
