Film Festival at WWU Spotlights Student Films

The film festival will run Thursday, Friday and Monday (March 29, March 30 and April 1) in the Library Auditorium on the William Woods campus, starting at 6 each night.
In its third year, the film festival is open to filmmakers of every age locally, nationally and internationally. The festival is designed to spotlight up-and-coming filmmakers from WWU, along with other amateurs and professionals from around the world.
On Thursday, non-experimental films will be screened; on Friday, experimental films, and on Monday, professional experimental films.
William Woods University current and former students who have entered their work in the festival are Caleb Cheney of Mexico, Mo.; Brooke Gastineau of New Bloomfield, Mo.; Michele Eggen of Jefferson City, Mo.; Dan Binning of St. Charles, Mo.; Catharine Douglass of Kansas City, Mo.; Cydney Cutchall of Fulton, Mo.; Carissa Biele of Fulton, Mo.; Mike Zumwalt of Fenton, Mo.; Beau Pickens of Surrey, England; Zach Eastman of Jefferson City, Mo.; Daniel Saults of Rolla, Mo., and Nikki Roemer of Wauconda, Ill.
The film festival is open and free to the public.
