Three Receive Alumni Awards from William Woods University

Others receiving awards were:
• Judy Kuergeleis Schmuck of Wildwood, Mo., who received the Green Owl Award for service to the alumni association and the university. A 1972 graduate, Schmuck is first vice president of the WWU Alumni Association Board of Directors, and previously served two years as second vice president. In addition, she has held a number of leadership positions in Alpha Chi Omega sorority and is currently advisor for the chapter on campus.
• Sarah Rowland of Kansas City, Mo., who was named an Honorary Alumnus. Rowland breeds and raises American Saddlebred horses, which she has ridden since growing up in Moberly, Mo. Last fall, she and her husband, Landon, were the major donors for the new Rowland Applied Riding Arena, which was built on campus.
