The daughter of Daniel and Kathleen Davis, she is majoring in American Sign Language interpreting.
Davis was one of 13 William Woods University students selected for Who’s Who, based on being an outstanding campus leader. A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
By being listed in “Who’s Who,” Davis joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
Davis has volunteered her time as an interpreter coordinator and interpreter for Campus Crusade for Christ, the Missouri School for the Deaf, First Baptist Church and Calvary Church.
She is on the Leadership Team for Campus Crusade for Christ, and has been in the Honors Program, a University Ambassador, an Orientation Assistant/Peer Mentor and a member of Hands Up Club for interpreting majors. Davis is a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and Alpha Mu Gamma foreign language honor society. She placed first in the Undergraduate Research Conference as a freshman and has been on the Dean’s List for academic achievement for four years.
