Kewadin Resident Awarded Scholarship at William Woods University

Brittany Ann White of Kewadin, Mich., has been awarded an equestrian scholarship for her sophomore year at William Woods University.
The daughter of Melanie White, she will receive a Theresa and Bernie Vonderschmitt Saddle Seat Scholarship and Workship, which will cover 100 percent of her room, board, tuition, fees and textbooks.
As a recipient, she must participate in a workship program, under the direction of the senior saddle seat faculty member, for 250 hours per semester (15 hours a week). She must also gain summer employment/internship positions for two out of her three summers while an undergraduate student.
Brittany is currently a freshman at WWU, majoring in equestrian science with a minor in business administration.
