WWU Student Inducted into Foreign Language Honor Society

Nicole Knight, a William Woods University junior from Nixa, Mo., was recently inducted into Alpha Mu Gamma foreign language honor society.

Alpha Mu Gamma is the first and largest national collegiate foreign language honor society in the United States. Its aims are to (1) recognize achievement in foreign language study, (2) nurture an interest in the study of foreign languages, literatures and civilizations, (3) stimulate a desire for linguistic attainment and (4) foster sympathetic understanding of other peoples through the medium of languages.

To be eligible for membership a student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and an A in two upper-level foreign language classes.
