WWU Presents Awards for Annual Photography Contest

Amy Folkedahl, a junior studio art major from Weatherby Lake, Mo., took first place in the fourth annual In-Focus Campus Photography Contest at William Woods University.Students, faculty and staff entered
photos they had taken during the past year at WWU, and 28 entries were received. The contest was co-sponsored by the offices of Student Life and Marketing/University Relations.

Folkedahl won for her photo of a baseball pitcher on the mound. Cassie Davis, an alumna from Old Monroe, Mo., placed second for her picture of a campus pathway. She is currently the Missouri Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA at WWU. David Harris, a sophomore from Columbia, Mo., got third for his photo of the fountain at Senior Lake.
Judges for the contest were Kristina Bright, marketing and creative director; Tom Baker, Internet and new media manager; Kameron Bledsoe, graphic design coordinator, and , coordinator of Greek life and student involvement.
