Education Honor Society Selects New Members at WWU

Eighteen new members have been selected for Kappa Delta Pi education honorary society at William Woods University.
The new initiates from Missouri are: Corey Blackburn, Katherine Finley, Joseph Davis and TJ Quick, all of Fulton; Kristy Duello of Wright City; Heather Gastler of Wellsville; Amanda Herriman of Eldon; Donna Hoek of Centralia; LeaAnn Knaebel, Sean Rost and Tara Schulte, all of Jefferson City; Andrew Nickless of Festus; Sara Schulze of Montgomery City; Carrie Scott-Douglas of Columbia; Caitlin Steiner of New Bloomfield, and Emily Teepe of Nevada. Also initiated were Jessica Bonifield of Carbondale, Ill., and Jennifer Hewitt of Nichols, Wis.
Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society organized to recognize excellence in education. Education students who have completed 60 hours or more and have achieved a grade point average of 3.25 or above are eligible for induction.
Dr. Michael Tan, WWU associate professor of education, is the counselor for the Nu Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.
