Annual Student Art Exhibit Opens at WWU

The annual student art exhibit, which exhibits the artistic compilation of
William Woods University art students, will be on display at WWU through April 5.
William Woods University art students, will be on display at WWU through April 5. The opening reception will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 10) at the Mildred Cox Gallery in the Gladys Woods Kemper Center for the Arts.
Freshman, sophomore and junior art majors and minors chose three of their favorite art pieces to display. Artwork in the show includes oil paintings, watercolor paintings, mixed media pieces, pen and ink, charcoal, acrylics, clay, bronze, photography, jewelry and graphic design.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, call (573) 592-4245.
