Cox Recognized as Outstanding Senior at WWU

Brittany Cox of Rolla, Mo., received a Student Alumni Council Outstanding Senior Award at William Woods University’s recent co-curricular honors banquet. The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community involvement and leadership.
Cox is president of Chi Omega sorority. She is also vice president of Order of Omega, Greek honor society; a member of President’s Twenty, and a residence hall community advisor.
She has volunteered locally at a homeless shelter, food pantry and Head Start Preschool, and helped raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
