Student Earns Scholarship from William Woods University

A Curryville, Mo., student received an academic scholarship from William Woods University.
Receiving the WWU Merit Scholarship was Debra Parrott, the daughter of William and Sandra Parrott. She intends to major in pre-vet biology.WWU Merit Scholars receive full tuition in the amount of $17,500. Recipients must have a minimum ACT of 32 or SAT of 1410 and a minimum 3.6 grade point average or be a National Merit Finalist. They must also successfully complete the LEAD program, which encourages active student involvement in university life beyond the classroom at WWU.
