Student Earns Scholarship from William Woods University

Krista SpencerA Naperville, Ill., student received an academic scholarship from William Woods University.
 
Receiving the Presidential Scholar Scholarship was Krista Spencer, the daughter of Bill and Lisa Spencer.  She intends to major in equine administration.
 
The WWU Presidential Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship with requirements of an ACT of 27 or SAT of 1210 and a minimum GPA of 3.2. The student must also successfully complete the LEAD program, which encourages active student involvement in university life beyond the classroom at WWU.
