Student Earns Scholarship from William Woods University

Maryiah FulsomA Mexico, Mo., student received an academic scholarship from William Woods University.
 
Receiving Academic Excellence, A+ and LEAD awardss was Maryiah Fulsom, the daughter of Teresa Fulsom. She intends to major in business.
 
$3,000 Academic Excellence Awards are awarded to applicants who have an ACT of 25-27 or an SAT of 1130-1230 or are in the top 20 percent of their class. 
 
A+ Award of $1,000 is automatically awarded upon receipt of a certified transcript from a Missouri A+ designated high school.
 
LEAD Awards of $5,000 are awarded to incoming students to encourage active student involvement in university life beyond the classroom.
