WWU Students Capture ‘Faces in the Woods’ in Photography Contest

William Woods University holds an annual photography contest and this year Amber Vieth, a senior business administration major from Jefferson City, Mo., came away with two prizes—first ($100) and third ($50). Taking second place and receiving $75 in this year’s “The Woods In Focus” photography contest was Erica Begley, a sophomore art education major from Hannibal, Mo., while Veronica Myers, a senior graphic design major from Mapleton, Ill., was awarded honorable mention.
The theme of the contest was “Faces at the Woods,” and the contest was
open to all WWU faculty, staff and students. Images were judged by quality of composition, elements of design, concept, color and technical quality. Judges were members of the Marketing and University Relations staff.
