Kaycee Wyatt Named to Who’s Who

Kaycee WyattKaycee Wyatt of Wathena, Kan., has been named to the 2011 edition of “Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”

She was one of 14 WWU students selected for Who’s Who, based on outstanding campus leadership.
 
Wyatt, an art education major, was also named the Distinguished Scholar in Art Education. The faculty of various disciplines at William Woods have the opportunity each spring to designate one graduating senior as a Distinguished Scholar. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required, but the faculty may consider other relevant academic factors and variables in the selection process.
 
A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students for Who’s Who based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
 
By being listed in Who’s Who, Wyatt joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
 
At William Woods, Wyatt was vice president and scholarship chair of Chi Omega, a member of Kappa Delta Pi education honor society, Alpha Chi academic honorary, Campus Crusade for Christ and Kindness Connection. She earned a portfolio review achievement award for visual arts craftsmanship and design.
 
A member of the WWU softball team, she earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-AMC, NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Champions of Character Team awards.
