Put on your best red dress and join the Alpha Phis at William Woods University to raise money for women’s heart health at the second annual Red Dress Gala.

This exciting event is right around the corner on Saturday (Nov. 5) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Aldridge Lounge. The event is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased at the door for $12 each.

“We will have cocktails and appetizers, and we also will have a silent auction during the gala,” said Gina Davis, Alpha Phi president at WWU. “All are welcome to attend the event. You can help by sponsoring a table for $35 or more, or by donating items for the silent auction.”

Alpha Phi has worked hard to make this a fantastic event to raise money for women’s heart health. Women’s heart health is a huge problem as it affects millions of American women every year. Heart disease is also more deadly for women than any other disease.

Because of this, Alpha Phi chapters all around the country have joined together to raise money for women’s cardiac research. Many Alpha Phi chapters do this by hosting their own annual Red Dress Gala.

Alpha Phi’s vice president of marketing commented, “It’s great that we can host an event that benefits Alpha Phi Foundation and giving something bigger than ourselves.”

The Red Dress Gala is also “changing it up this year by getting faculty and staff involved and making a positive connection with them,” Davis said.

Get your red on and come support the Delta Chi chapter of Alpha Phi and a wonderful cause that helps prevent heart problems of women all over the country.
