LinkedIn representative to Skype with WWU students

A representative of LinkedIn will visit with William Woods University students via Skype tomorrow. Scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Library Auditorium, the session is free and open to the public.
 
Murphy Tetley, instructor of management information systems, set up the Skype meeting during what he plans to be an in-depth discussion of the do’s and don’ts of professional Internet media.
 
Via Skype Tetley will host John Hill, college/university representative of LinkedIn. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Hill was the director of alumni career services and internship development at Michigan State University.
 
He also worked as associate editor/online editor for Athlon Sports; sports editor for the Franklin Review Appeal; market development manager for the Lansing State Journal; and Sports Writer for Lansing Community Newspapers. Hill earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University’s College of Communication Arts & Sciences.
