WWU sponsors Woods Way 5K

Bring your family, friends and even your dog to the third annual Woods Way 5K run, hosted by the Woods Way Wellness Committee at William Woods University.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held Saturday, March 24. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in front of the McNutt Campus Center, and the run starts at 10 a.m.

T-shirts will be given to the first 75 registered. The registration fee is $10 for adults, $2 for WWU students and free for kids 12 and under.

Participants can receive a number and be timed, or just run or walk for fun. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place for men and women. Awards will be presented at approximately 11 a.m.

To register in advance, email Debbie Schick at dschick@williamwoods.edu to request a form. Return the form with a check payable to William Woods University to Debbie Schick/5k, William Woods University, One University Ave., Fulton, MO 65251.
