Fifteen William Woods University students recently were named
Outstanding Students by the Student Alumni Council.
Receiving awards at the co-curricular banquet were: Freshmen,
Haley Hinze of Greenville, S.C., Ben Struemph of Jefferson City, Mo., and
Claire Thibodaux of Wildwood, Mo.; Sophomores, Amy Gibson of Kirksville, Mo.,
Darian Lightfoot of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Mary Raines Scriber of Bentonville,
Ark.; Juniors, Ilana Archuleta of Fulton, Mo., Katie Gannon of St. Louis, Mo., Brooke
Thibodaux of Wildwood, Mo., Lucas Watson of Louisiana, Mo., and Katherine
Wortmann of Mexico, Mo., and Seniors, Jada Bennington of Beloit, Wis., Lauren
Greenwald of Houston, Texas, Zachary Hurst of Jefferson City, Mo., and Gillian
Tracey of Spring, Texas.
The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William
Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other
students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community
involvement and leadership.
