Sally Wharton Frank of Chesterfield, Mo., received the Outstanding Service Award at William Woods University’s Alumni Weekend. First presented in 1992, the award honors an alumnus for his or her many years of support in multifaceted areas and outstanding service to the university.

A 1974 graduate, Frank earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with minors in religion and speech.  While in college, she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority and served as an alumnae coordinator for her chapter. In addition, Frank was on the Dean’s and Achievements lists. She was also a member of the Jester’s Theatre Club and secretary of Alpha Iota, Business Honor Society.

Since graduation, Frank has continued her involvement with William Woods and has served on the National Alumni Board of Directors since 2006. Her service to William Woods includes creating the Alumni Weekend Wine Tasting Event and hosting several alumni events.

She has generously donating to the Imagine Campaign. In recognition of their donation, Frank and two sorority sisters, Tammy Boehm and Cindy Logan, have earned naming rights for a room in the new Alpha Phi house that is to be built in Sorority Circle.
