Tyler Phillips Receives Enterprise Scholarship

Tyler Phillips of Braymer, Mo., was the recipient of the Enterprise Scholarship from Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) during his senior year at William Woods University.

A recent graduate, Phillips completed a double major in management information systems and business administration with concentrations in marketing and advertising.
 
Phillips is the son of Marshall and Michelle Phillips, both of whom were positive influences as he pursued his business degree. His father built Phillips Construction from the ground up and his mother was a business teacher for 18 years before becoming a counselor at Penney High School in Hamilton, Mo.
 
Business has always interested Phillips. His exposure in high school to business classes stimulated his pursuit of his business degree. Watching his father develop a successful business was also an inspiration.
 
Phillips was a member of the WWU baseball team. During his free time, he enjoys active hobbies such as hunting, fishing, water skiing and sports.
