Students inducted into biology honor society

William Woods University inducted six students into the Pi Phi chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta) national biological honor society.

Chosen members are Lauren Billington of St. Charles, Mo.; Abigail Cable of Lees Summit, Mo.; Cody Kern of Benton, Mo.; Emily Magnuson of Liberty, Mo.; Kayla Murray of Urbana, Mo., and Miranda Sires of Fulton, Mo.
 
Beta Beta Beta is a national biological honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study, as well as extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.
 
To be eligible for initiation, students must complete a minimum of three biology majors’ classes at WWU, with a minimum grade point average of 3.25 in their biology classes.
