William Woods University’s English honorary society, Sigma Tau Delta, will host two book sales this year, adding one in the fall to the traditional spring book sale. The fall book sale, Read N’ Feed, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12-16, in the hallway of the Academic Building, near the library.
While searching for novels, children’s books, cookbooks, comic books, or event textbooks, shoppers will be able to buy goodies from the Sigma Tau Delta bake sale table that will be set up throughout the week during the book sale.
The sales are open to the campus community and the public. All proceeds benefit the Eta Mu Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society at William Woods University.
“We decided to double up our book sale to help fund the events we’ll be doing this year,” said Leigh Rice, president of Sigma Tau Delta’s Eta Mu Chapter. “We plan on doing so many new things this year for our chapter and the local community, and one way to fund these events will be through the two book sales we have scheduled this year.”
Those seeking more information or interested in donating books to either the fall or spring book sale should contact Eta Mu chapter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
