William Woods University senior Olivia Koselansky was selected as the American Marketing Association Student of the Year at WWU. AMA is an organization for those who practice, teach and help the development of marketing worldwide.
Koselansky, of Sterling Heights, Mich., was recommended by her business and marketing professors. She is a business administration major with a double concentration in management and marketing/advertising.
Her achievements within Collegiate DECA were also considered. Collegiate DECA is a collegiate-level club in which students apply their business education in competition. Recently, Koselansky and three teammates took first place in Entrepreneurship at the DECA International Competition in Anaheim, Calif.
The American Marketing Association chapter of St. Louis approved Koselansky’s award.
“I am very honored to have won this award, and I can't wait to see what the future brings for me,” said Koselansky.
“The WWU business division is proud to honor Olivia as our marketing student of the year,” Dr. Linda Duke, assistant professor of marketing and business, said. “Her marketing expertise shined all the way to first place at Collegiate DECA International Competition.”
Dr. Linda Duke, assistant professor of marketing and business, presents Olivia Koselansky with a certificate declaring her American Marketing Association Student of the Year at William Woods University.
