Stinson Receives Order of the Owl from WWU Alumni

Dave Stinson of Fulton received the Order of the Owl Award during Alumni Weekend at William Woods University, April 16-17. The award is given to honor the spouse of an alumnus who has shown a special interest in promoting and supporting the activities of the university.

Stinson graduated from Westminster College in 1973 with a bachelor of science in psychology. He earned his master of business administration (MBA) from William Woods University in 1997.

He has been married since 1973 to Becky Bean Stinson, a 1972 WWU graduate. For 20 years they lived in Texas, where he specialized in commercial insurance and carried the professional designations of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and ARM (Association of Risk Management).

The Stinsons returned to Missouri in 1994. Since 1998, Dave has served as the regional director of Central Leasing Management, Inc., a human resources and employer consulting organization. Dave and Becky have two children, both students at WWU. Beau is in the adult access program and Anne Elizabeth is a sophomore, majoring in studio art.
