WWU to Host Dance Workshop Saturday

The workshop is for ages 14 and up. The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students and free for members of MDEO. Attendees will meet in Tucker Dining Hall at 12:30 p.m. for a campus tour, and sessions will begin in Dulany Auditorium at 1:30 p.m.
WWU alumna Jennifer Goffe Clossum, class of 1984, helped organize the MDEO workshop. Instructors are Cecil Slaughter and Christine Knoblauch-O’Neal.
Slaughter is an artist in residence at Washington University and artistic director for the Washington University Dance Theatre. She was also principal dancer and assistant rehearsal coach with the Dayton Contemporary Dance Theater.
Knoblauch-O’Neal is a senior artist in residence at Washington University. Her dance experience includes the American Ballet Theater, in “A Chorus Line,” and the film “Turning Point.” She also won a bronze medal at the Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria.
