Fraternities and sororities at William Woods University recently elected new officers for the coming year. These officers are charged with upholding the Greek ideals of scholarship, leadership, service, and friendship.

Encompassing more than 40 percent of the undergraduate student population, Greek life at WWU includes four nationally recognized sororities—Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Chi Omega, and Delta Gamma—and two nationally recognized fraternities—Phi Gamma Delta and Pi Kappa Alpha.

Chandra Daffer, director of Greek life and student involvement, works closely with these students.

“I have the opportunity to work with many great students who are learning their own personal leadership style through their involvement in the Greek community. I am very excited to work with the new Greek officers, as the spring semester is a very exciting time! The new officers are creating their goals and directions for their chapters and it is remarkable to see them take their chapters to the next level,” comments Daffer.
