William Woods Riders Win at Prince of Wales Horse Show

William Woods University riders took three championships and four first place ribbons at the Prince of Wales Horse Show held April 17-18 in Columbia, Mo. They were coached by Gayle Lampe and Laura Ward.

Championships were won by:

Kris Maloney of West Seneca, N.Y., on Ouedse, MHSA Open English Pleasure Champion

Jackie Ware of Duluth, Ga., on I Found My Champagne, ASB 5-Gaited Show Pleasure Qualifier 1st and ASB 5-Gaited Show Pleasure Champion

Jenn Holdren of Louisville, Ky., on The Dixie Doodle, ASB 3-Gaited Show Pleasure Qualifier 2nd and ASB 3-Gaited Show Pleasure Champion

First place ribbons were won by:

Jess Savinelli of Newton, N.H., on Summer Rendezvous, ASB 5-Gaited Open/Amateur, and on Green Top, ASB 3-Gaited Park Pleasure

Janelle Kessler of Eden Prairie, Minn., on CH Odds on Spectre, ASB Country English Pleasure

Second place ribbons were won by:

Jimmy Bushard of Random Lake, Wis., on Lydian, ASB 3-Gaited Park Open Amateur

Lauren McMichael of Houston, Texas, on Swatch Watch, ASB 5-Gaited Open/Amateur

Tom Parsons of Walla Walla, Wash., on Back Street Rhythm, MHSA Open English Pleasure

Third place ribbons were won by:

Samantha Barber of Coden, Ala., on Formally Attired, ASB 5-Gaited Open/Amateur

Amanda Wright of Ilion, N.Y., on Java Chip, ASB 3-Gaited Open/Amateur
