Speer Named Distinguished Scholar

Fulton resident Katherine Speer has been named the 2005 Distinguished Scholar in communications-broadcasting at William Woods University.

Speer is the wife of Keith Speer and daughter of Jim and Deborah Small.

To be a Distinguished Scholar at William Woods, a graduating senior must be selected by the faculty of a particular discipline. A minimum grade point average of 3.4 is required.
