Admissions
The following steps will be necessary to complete the application & registration processes at William Woods University…
- Apply for admission by submitting the following information to the Office of Admissions at William Woods University…
- Completed application and application fee ($25.00 U.S. dollars – no cash please). (Click here to apply online)
- Official high school/college or post secondary transcripts of all schools attended. All transcripts need to be evaluated by an outside agency. Click here for Foreign Education Credential Service Form.
- English proficiency requirements
- Information for 2 academic references (We will mail them a form).
- Academic History form.
- Affidavit of Financial Support and supporting bank statements.
*Note: Notarized English translations of all non-English documents will be required.
- Receive acceptance notification.
- Receive I-20 with instructions for applying for visa, if applicable.
- For fall semester, submit deposit and residence hall agreement: Before March 1, send $150 and the $100 WWU coupon. After March 1, send $250. (Deposit is refundable until May 1).
- Apply for institution scholarships by completing and submitting appropriate scholarship materials to William Woods University, Office of Admission (include resume / curriculum vitae, if applicable).
- Receive, review, sign and return financial aid award.
- Register for classes via phone or e-mail (if available).
- Watch for updates…housing, roommates, what to bring, dates to remember, immunization requirements, campus e-mail address, etc.
- Gather documents required to check-in at William Woods, including mandatory health insurance documentation. (If you do not have health insurance, you may choose one from several suggestions available after you arrive on campus)
