Don't walk in front of me and be my leader, don't walk behind me and be my follower, but walk beside me and be my friend.
Greek Life has been an important part of William Woods University since 1965.
Greek life offers students many things, including: scholarship, leadership, community service, and friendship. The All-Greek GPA is traditionally higher than the All-Campus GPA. Greek students are involved in every organization on campus, and some of WWU’s most active student organizations are led by Greek students. Greeks are also very involved in athletics. Each chapter has a philanthropy (charity) that they raise money for, and many hours of community service accompany being in a fraternity or sorority. Joining a Greek organization creates lifelong friendships: you do not join just for four years, but for life!
Please use the links at the right to find out more about our outstanding Greek community! There are resources for parents and for future Greeks, recruitment, information about the chapters, and an opportunity to meet current Greek students.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions about Greek life at The Woods!
