General Description:
William Woods University is seeking a Director of Global Admissions responsible for recruitment for WWU Global Undergrad, Graduate, and Doctorate programs. The Director of Global Admissions has primary oversight over a unit dedicated to aspects of the Global admissions and enrollment process. The Director will ensure a seamless experience for applicants as they proceed through the admissions cycle from the inquiry stage to student enrollment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring inquiry and application generation across the units, meeting enrollment goals, and developing partnerships with various organizations, not limited to community colleges, school districts, businesses, non-profits, hospitals, military facilities, and other organizations to promote the WWU Global Undergrad, Graduate, and Doctorate programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learner and graduate recruitment and a proven track record of success in admissions and recruitment. This position is open to remote work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and provide programmatic, operational and administrative leadership to maximize graduate and adult learner enrollment at William Woods University
· Leads and nurtures the Global Admissions team
· Develop, implement and report outcomes of the recruitment and assessment plan. Work closely with the development and implementation of the marketing plan.
· Provide consistent and timely coaching, feedback and professional development strategies
· Conduct aggressive, highly-personalized outreach to prospective graduate and adult learners using a variety of different platforms with the goal of meeting strategic enrollment goals
· Implement timely and effective lead follow-up among Global staff to prospective students, following lead base management strategies
· Develop and manage Global Admissions staff to key performance indicators such as various conversion rates, application generation, melt rate, etc.
· Develop and execute recruitment activities for online degree program in large geographic areas with personally conducted informational seminars
· Participate in analysis of current and historical admission data and trends and development and implementation of strategies to meet enrollment goals
· Execute and assess recruiting events conducted personally or by Global Admissions Staff members, including information sessions both on and off campus, in-person and virtual.
· Participate in recruitment travel and attend local, regional and national graduate recruitment conferences and fairs with the purpose of building relationships with prospective candidates
· Assist faculty program directors to effectively engage with prospective students
· Execute a comprehensive and data-driven recruitment strategy to maximize the enrollment of graduate and adult learners at William Woods University
· Conduct and manage ongoing outreach by Global Admissions staff to employers in Missouri and contiguous regions to ensure prospective continuing education, graduate and adult learners consider enrolling at William Woods University
· Conduct ongoing outreach to employers in Missouri and contiguous regions to ensure William Woods University is aware of continuing education, graduate and adult learner needs
· Research new opportunities and assist in developing innovative strategies to enhance enrollment
· Develops and provides operational leadership to Veterans enrollment programming
· Develops and provides operational leadership to a Degree Completion program
· Develops and provides operational leadership to a Continuing Education program
· Ensure that applications and corresponding student records in both JRM and the Jenzabar Student Information System are complete and accurate
· Work collegially with all areas of Enrollment Services, William Woods University Global, Financial Services, the various Colleges of the University, UIT and other support services to ensure effective student onboarding at the point of enrollment and matriculation
· Develops and implements procedures and operating processes that are compliant with federal, state and University policies, procedures and/or regulations
· Researches and participates in the selection and implementation of new hardware and software related to enrollment management strategic objectives
· Participates in Global leadership, staff meetings and retreats
· Attend meetings, serve on committees to participate in University-wide enrollment and student success planning and strategizing
· Work cooperatively with other University staff to build and nurture working relationships
· Complies with all FERPA related laws, regulations and procedures
· Perform other job related duties as assigned or appropriate
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or related field in higher education
- Strong understanding of the admissions process for online Undergrad, Graduate, and Doctorate programs.
- Proven track record of success in meeting enrollment goals and managing a remote staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of methods and procedures in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, preferably Jenzabar and JRM (Salesforce)
- Ability to work remotely and maintain effective communication with the admissions team, prospective students, and stakeholders in the online environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
- A valid Driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40+ hours per week with some travel required. Some evening and weekend work is required.
