Bryan Tramont

Bryan Tramont joined the board in 2016. As managing partner of Wilkinson Barker Knauer in Washington DC, he offers strategic counsel on communications law and regulation to Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, and telecommunications and media companies. Previously, he served as chief of staff of the Federal Communications Commission. A past president of the Federal Communications Bar Association, he has been awarded the organization’s Distinguished Service Award. He has been recognized by leading publications like Legal 500, Chambers USA, and Washingtonian as one of the nation’s top communications lawyers. The Best Lawyers in America® named him 2016 "Lawyer of the Year" in Communications Law. In 2015, he was named one of the Top 100 Washington, DC Super Lawyers. He graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University and earned his law degree from Yale Law School, where he served as editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review.
