Rebecca Thompson

Ms. Thompson, of Washington, D.C., is the Vice President of Government Affairs for U.S. Cellular. Formerly, she served as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel for Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), a lobbying firm that works to educate policymakers on the key issues that impact wireless communication providers. Ms. Thompson has represented the policy objectives of her membership before the Federal Communications Commission, U.S. Departments of Justice and Commerce, and the White House. Ms. Thompson has also served as General Counsel at CCA from 2010 through 2015, and as an associate at two D.C law firms from 2000 through 2010. Ms. Thompson received her Juris Doctor from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. in 2000 and her Bachelor of Science from Drexel University in 1997.
